Eradication of Germs

Until now, even the most hygienic facilities have only been able to offer kill rates of 99.99% against viruses such as the common Norovirus, using products like alcohol-based hand sanitizers.  Although 99.99% may sound impressive, this is barely better than washing with mere soap and water (99.9%), leaving thousands of living microbes to reproduce and repopulate their environment.  A surface that has been “cleaned” to 99.99% is not truly clean, is not sterile, and will often soon be teeming with bacteria and other pathogens.  To prevent this, one must kill the germs to what scientists call “log kill 7” (meaning seven nines, or 99.99999%).  This level of efficacy is only available with DepHyze™.

Mold can be found wherever there is moisture, oxygen and something to feed on.  In addition to causing health issues like allergic reactions and asthma episodes, mold can also cause structural damage to buildings if the problem remains unaddressed.  

Mold is a spore, and is extremely difficult to kill. When you scrub mold off of an infected surfaces and absorbent materials like toilets, walls, and carpeting, the mold will almost always grow back.  This is because the spores, or the reproductive cells were not killed.

The genetic material of spores is encased in a tough protein exterior, which makes it impervious to extremes like heat, chemicals, and radiation so that they can survive almost anywhere.  When conditions aren’t favorable, they just become dormant until the conditions become more favorable.  Once that happens, the mold returns.
